The RC Thermometer TC-1030 is a high-precision infrared thermometer for RC engine, motor, and ESC temperature monitoring, as well as general surface and ambient measurement.
Built for RC enthusiasts, it combines high accuracy, durability, and intuitive operation in a compact, protective housing.
Designed for pit crews, it offers optimal viewing and holding angles for quick, comfortable readings—even in race conditions. It stores up to 10 recent readings for easy
temperature trend tracking.

The TC-1030 has a 1.6:1 D:S ratio. At 30 mm, spot diameter is ~1.9 mm (ideal for small RC engine heads). At 50 mm, spot diameter is ~3.1 mm (borderline).
Recommended distances:
2–3 cm: Ideal (~1.3–1.9 mm spot)
4 cm: Acceptable (~2.5 mm)
5 cm: Borderline (~3.1 mm)
Best measurement location: Above spark plug seating surface, within 3 cm. Avoid exhaust manifold, lower crankcase, and rear cover.
Emissivity
Emissivity adjusts for different surface materials. Default 0.95 works for most RC materials (anodized aluminum, painted surfaces, plastics, rubber).
Use 0.30 or lower for polished metals.
