Who are we :-)? Good question. First of all we are racers ourselves or at least, we share a passion for remote controlled toys :-)... Our owner Mr Nikolaj Jon Sandner Hviid, started playing with remote controlled cars at the age of 4. Over the next 3 years, he found out you could buy remote controlled cars, which you could build yourself. So an idea was started. He dreamed of getting one of these cars and over the next 3 years, he put money aside, doing small chores for his parents. At the age of 7, he had earned enough to buy his first remote controlled car, which he could build himself.
It was a Kyosho 4wd Gallop Mk1... 4wheel drive and 4wheel turning, with chain drive :-)....
He build it himself in a summer vacation, no help from his dad, except when it came to the electronics, he needed some help from other racers....
Since then he was lost for the cause :-).... That was in 1986.....
After racing many years, international and national, he finally started RC-Netshop.dk with his father and friend in 2001. But very quickly, 1 year later it was Nikolaj who was running the shop complete and he bought out his father and his fathers friend.
As a professional profession Nikolaj educated himself to be an Aeronautical Engineer and Avionics Engineer at the Danish Aeronautical Institute, he finalized his education in 2006.
So our shop has been "open" since 2001 and still going strong. We have a little good business going and we still race and enjoy the hobby. We have Team Drivers, running what we distribute and they help us in the shop and on the tracks.
